Role: Sr. Manager and Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the proper functioning of all medical equipment in the hospital 24x7.
• Installs new equipment by establishing, adjusting, calibrating, and testing performance.
• Drawing up a periodic maintenance and routine servicing schedule for all medical equipment.
• Keeping up-to-date service histories on all biomedical equipment.
• Planning for optimal availability of medical equipment, spares, and consumables.
• Calls for special equipment service, evaluates service contracts, and maintains equipment inventories.
• Arranging standby/loaner medical equipment or spares in case of repair delay.
• Guide biomedical engineers/Technicians while solving major problems.
• Training on biomedical equipment by providing equipment operation demonstrations, instructing other healthcare staff in the use and care of equipment, and answering questions.
• Arranging for special training for biomedical engineers/Technicians as may be required in case of life-saving medical equipment.
• Liaising with medical equipment suppliers and service providers to get proper service support.
• Maintains supplies inventory by checking stock, anticipating needs, placing, and expediting orders, and verifying receipt spares for front-line technical support of medical equipment.
• Make technical comparisons while purchasing new equipment.

Requirements:

• Sc. in Biomedical Engineering / Electrical and Electronics Engineering/Electro Medical / B.Sc in Applied Physics.
• Experience: At least 8 years.
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital, Research Organization, Diagnostic Centre, and Clinic.

Additional Requirements:

• Minimum 8-10 years of practical experience with specialization in Biomedical Instrumentation in which 2 years as a Manager or Equivalent post will be considered.
• Candidates having Hospital experience will get preference.
