Role: Assistant Manager and Senior Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise the company's fleet of vehicles, ensuring regular maintenance, repairs, and compliance with safety standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation logistics, minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.
• Lead and motivate a team of automobile technicians and drivers, providing guidance and support to enhance their performance.
• Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to source high-quality automobile parts and services at competitive prices.
• Assist in budget preparation, monitor expenses, and ensure cost-effective utilization of resources.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, environmental standards, and safety protocols related to automobile operations.
• Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inventory, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings and implement best practices in automobile management.
• Generate regular reports on fleet performance, maintenance activities, and key performance indicators for management review.
• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance activities on the company's automobiles to ensure optimal performance and safety standards.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other vehicle-related issues promptly to minimize downtime.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns and enhance the longevity of the vehicles.
• Ensure that all vehicles comply with local regulations and safety standards, including proper documentation, licenses, and inspections.
• Collaborate with other departments to coordinate vehicle usage and schedules and optimize transportation logistics.
• Provide training and guidance to drivers and other staff on safe driving practices and basic vehicle maintenance.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Automobile.
• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 3 to 7 years.
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
• Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic, Steel.

Job Location: Habiganj.

Salary: Negotiable.
