Role: Production Manager

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for preparing the production plan and executing it accordingly. Responsible for quality and handling customer issues, implementing and monitoring ISO/Quality systems of the plant, and attending and resolving customer complaints. Responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System and related processes.
• Oversees the processing of production work orders by establishing standard operating procedures to meet company objectives. Preparing and monitoring preventive maintenance schedules for all equipment and machinery.
• Develop and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine standards and establish the quality and reliability expectancy of finished products. Responsible for process and product control, new product development, and custodian of inspection processes of all incoming material.
• Participates in the ongoing management review of production rates and standard scrap with the continual goal of improving throughput while maintaining required quality.
• Coordinates with the Engineering rep and the section Manager when technical support is required regarding issues in production to review and develop a solution.
• May also participate in reviews with Production, Engineering, and Sales regarding current capabilities and lost opportunities.
• Oversees departmental staffing requirements and coordinates with supervisors in the scheduling of personnel by production needs.
• Responsible for complete Lab Testing Report of final finished good material like dimension and surface quality, physical and chemical properties according to standard.
• Responsible for knowing and enforcing all company rules, regulations, and policies. Consult with management, as appropriate, when an interpretation of said rules, regulations, and policies is required.
• Responsible for solving production problems in consultation with factory management.
• Responsible for ensuring proper utilization of gas, electricity, and other utilities for uninterrupted production with the help and assistance of concerned departmental heads.
• Recommends changes or updates to company rules, regulations, and policies when necessary.
• Responsible for training team members.
• Responsible for maintaining all manufacturing buildings, equipment, and processes and making recommendations in support of continuous improvement and/or cost reduction.
• Responsible for labour relations and responses to grievances.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) in ceramic.
• Sc in Ceramic Technology or equivalent.
• Experience: At least 15 years

Additional Requirements:

• Age 40 to 50 years.

Job Location: Anywhere in Bangladesh.

Salary: Negotiable.
