Role: Manager

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain an efficient distribution network to ensure timely delivery of products.
Evaluate and optimize the distribution network to improve cost-effectiveness and minimize delivery times.
Coordinate with transportation providers, warehouses, and distribution centers to ensure logistics operations.
Negotiate contracts with transportation vendors to secure favorable rates and terms.
Monitor transportation schedules and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
Oversee inventory levels at warehouses and distribution centers to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
Implement inventory management systems and processes to optimize inventory turnover and reduce costs.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations throughout the distribution process.
Implement quality control measures to prevent damage or loss during transportation and storage.
Lead and motivate a team of professionals to achieve departmental goals.
Provide training opportunities to enhance team members' skills and capabilities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to distribution and logistics operations.
Prepare reports on performance metrics and provide insights for improvement.

Requirements:

Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Supply Chain Management.
Training in Supply Chain.
Experience: 5 to 10 years.
The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies, Plastic/ Polymer Industry, Sanitary ware, Tiles/Ceramic, and Steel.
