Role: IT Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities 

  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Escalate IT issues to the IT Manager where necessary.
  • Responsible for managing backups and tape rotation.
  • Undertake small to medium-sized IT projects as instructed by the IT Manager.
  • Provide desktop and Network support.
  • Support and maintain MS Server/Desktops/Wi-Fi Network.
  • Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops/Wi-Fi Devices.
  • Install authorized software on laptops and desktops.
  • Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops.
  • Antivirus installation on all desktops and laptops.
  • Fault-finding to laptops and desktops/Wi-Fi Networks.
  • Reporting faults and maintaining logs on desktops, Networks, and laptops.
  • Completing internal user moves including phones.
  • Patching of network and phones.
  • Making Cat 5 e network cables was necessary.
  • Ensure all logs for equipment and users are maintained.
  • Ensuring all software purchased licensing is recorded and maintained.
  • Exchange server mailbox maintenance including archiving mailboxes.
  • Setting up new users and disabling expired accounts by HR requirements.
  • Providing support for MAC and PC.

Requirements: 

  • Minimum CSE Graduate or B.Sc in Computer Science/ Engineering.
  • Experience Requirements: 1 to 2 years (s).
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): IT System Management, System Engineer (Computer Network and System).
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Hospital.

Additional Requirements:

  • Age 22 to 30 years.
  • Perform basic administrative support duties as required to meet specific operational objectives.
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.
  • Work extra hours to meet deadlines, as required and where reasonable.
  • Assist as required to the IT Manager.
  • Assist and support colleagues in IT-related matters.
  • Ensure that a high level of customer service and support is provided to all internal and external customers.

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary: Negotiable
