Name of the Position: Forest Data Analysis and Reporting Specialist

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct analysis of information needs for Bangladesh for transparent, accurate, consistent, complete, and comparable forest estimates, in line with international guidelines such as the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change and Sustainable Development Goals. 

• In cooperation with international experts and national institutes, design and conduct studies aiming to fill in gaps in information to meet international and national reporting requirements. 

• Sort, process, analyse and validate the collected data in coordination with the project team.

Job Requirements (Education/ Skill):

• At least M.Sc. level degree in Forestry, Biology, or Natural Sciences

• At least five years of relevant experience in statistics and statistical analysis of natural resource data
