Role: Officer ( Content, Quality, and Training) 

Job Responsibilities:     

• Review national and international curricula, contents, books, and other supplementary materials to develop high-quality curriculum and contents for BRAC Academy.
• Develop workbooks and teachers' guides for various subjects and assessment tools and techniques with implementation guidelines (workbooks, World Studies, and Story Time).
• Work with the design team to develop educational and capacity-building materials.
• Conducting and facilitating training sessions and workshops for teachers also supports the teacher recruitment process.
• Develop capacity development initiatives for teachers and staff of BRAC Academy.
• Conduct regular field visits to follow up on the training provided to teachers and ensure effective implementation at the school level.
• Assess and improve the academic performance of BRAC Academy schools through remedial support and learning assessments.

Safeguarding Responsibilities:

• Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organization, and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment, and exploitation, including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA), to achieve the program's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance, and expertise on safeguarding to establish a safe working environment.
• Practice, promote, and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
• Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Requirements:

• Graduation and post-graduation both are in Education.
• Experience Requirements: Between 6-12 months of school teaching and/or internship experience in curriculum development, educational content creation, or teacher training. 

Additional Requirements:

• Assist the team in special projects aimed at enhancing experiential learning.
• Provide support to different BEP schools as and when required. Different BEP schools as and when required.

Job Location: BRAC Head Office, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
