Role: Associate Scientist

Job Responsibilities:

For Formulation Development:

• Conduct pre-formula and development studies to optimize the formula and process for solid, ophthalmic, injectable, liquid, and lyophilized products.
• Conduct reformulation activities to improve quality, improve the manufacturing process, and minimize cost.
• Review DMF, COA, and MSDS of APIs and excipients.
• Participate in IQ, OQ, and PQ activities of lab equipment.
• Explore to develop an alternate vendor for existing products.
• Design the finished product specification.
• Conduct stability studies of new and existing products.

For Analytical Research and Development:

• Perform analytical method development for both compendia and non-compendia methods.
• Prepare and review method validation protocols and reports.
• Conduct analytical method validation/ verification activities.
• Carry out analytical method transfer.
• Develop and validate test methods for cleaning validation.
• Generate and review laboratory investigation reports.
• Conduct a review of analytical test data.

Requirements:

• For Formulation Development: Minimum B Pharm (from reputed public and private Universities).
• For Analytical Research and Development: Minimum B. Sc. in Chemistry / Applied Chemistry / Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (from reputed public and private Universities).
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (in sterile Formulation Development) is preferable, but freshers are encouraged to apply.
• Excellent planning and execution skills and strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Well, conversant with MS Office.
• Capable of working in a team and shifting environment.
• Within 32 years of age.
