Scholarship Duration:
The Knight-Hennessy Scholarship provides funding for up to three years.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Open to graduates of any nationality, ethnicity, gender, or age.
- Applicants must meet the criteria and requirements of their chosen Stanford graduate program.
- Applicants must be newly enrolled full-time graduate students at Stanford.
- Applicants should have earned their bachelor's degree not more than six years before 2018. For the U.S. military (active or veteran), degrees must not be earned before 2016.
- Candidates must meet one of the following conditions:
- Apply separately but simultaneously to the Knight-Hennessy Scholars (KHS) and Stanford graduate degree programs, starting both in the same year.
- Have deferred admission to Stanford's graduate program and applied to KHS to start both in the same year.
- Be a current Stanford graduate student pursuing a second Stanford graduate degree, starting KHS and the new program in the same year.
- Be current first-year Stanford PhD students applying to start KHS in their second year of PhD enrollment.
- TOEFL scores are required for all graduate programs except the MBA program, which also accepts IELTS and PTE.
