Nagad is a Bangladeshi Digital Large Financial Service operating under the authority of the Bangladesh Post Office, an attached department of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunication.

Role: Head of Reporting

Job Responsibilities:     

• Oversee the preparation and submission of financial statements by regulations & standards.
• Leading the financial & regulatory reporting team of the organization, ensuring regulatory compliance and governance.
• Develop and implement automation & innovation in Financial and Regulatory reporting functions.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights to senior management to support decision-making.
• Revenue assurance via identification or verification of key financial factors
• Timely, accurate regulatory reporting for all relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to regulatory authorities like Bangladesh Bank, BSEC, FRC, etc.
• Timely, accurate financial & external reporting, MIS, and analysis for all relevant stakeholders, including but not limited to regulatory authorities, shareholders, etc.
• ISS, CAMELS rating, CL Reporting, and other specific regulatory report submissions, as well as adequate communication, are needed.
• Facilitating all other internal and external stakeholders with adequate & timely data regarding financial statements. (i.e. Auditors, Rating agencies, etc.)
• Successfully closing external, internal, and BB audits as and when required & relevant communications.
• Identify and minimize risk exposures to avoid financial & regulatory reporting-related risks.
• Stay abreast of changes in accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure public disclosure of relevant financial statements & data as required by regulations.

Requirements:

• Professional qualifications like CA, CPA, CFA, CIMA, ACCA, ICMA (fully or partly qualified) will be given preference.
• Rational decision-making and problem-solving abilities, self-motivated, result-driven, adaptable, and able to work independently. Soft skills like Leadership, communication, teamwork, critical thinking, and adaptability are required. 
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and BI tools, among others.
• Minimum 8-10 years experience in Financial & Regulatory reporting functions under the Finance division of reputable institutions, preferably Banks, NBFIs, etc.
