Role: Assistant Engineer 

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Engineer in planning, designing, and implementing water treatment projects to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the water treatment plant.
• The candidate must be very sound with WTP, DM plant, and RO+UF plant operations and maintenance.
• Conduct regular inspections of the water treatment plant to ensure that it is operating at maximum efficiency and that any issues or malfunctions are identified and address promptly.
• Regular basis site visits, data collection, and sending it to head office for data animated decision making.
• Prepare reports on plant operations, water quality, and environmental compliance, as well as performance data for use by management, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Finding sales and marketing scope through the site visits and identifying new markets, and maintaining good relationships with clients and vendors.
• Participate in the development of operational and capital budgets for the water treatment plant and monitor expenses to ensure that they stay within budgetary constraints.
• Assist in the selection and procurement of equipment, materials, and supplies necessary for the operation of the water treatment plant.
• Coordinate with other departments and agencies as necessary to ensure that all aspects of the water treatment plant operators are compliant with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Develop and implement training programs for plant personnel, including safety training, equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Troubleshooting and cause-effect analysis to find out the actual fault on a specific WTP plant.
• Assist in developing and implementing quality control procedures to ensure that water quality meets or exceeds established standards.
• Assist in developing and implementing emergency response plans and procedures and participate in emergency response drills and exercises.
• Participate in research and development activities to identify new technologies and methods for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of water treatment processes.

Requirements:

• B.Sc Engineering in ME/Chemical/Environmental/IPE/EEE from any reputed University
• Experience Requirements: At least 3 years (s)

Additional Requirements

• Age 28 to 35 years
• The candidate should have a high level of attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
• The candidate should have experience in project management, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
• The candidate should be willing to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques and be open to receiving feedback and coaching from senior team members.
• Knowledge of water treatment processes, environmental regulations, and compliance requirements is essential. The candidate should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong communication skills are essential, including the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders. The candidate should be able to work effectively in a team environment and have strong interpersonal skills.
• The candidate should have a strong commitment to safety and be able to identify and mitigate potential hazards in the workplace.
• Manpower handling capability.
• Self-motivated and problem-solving capable of consulting with management.
• Related professional training or other educational qualifications will be definite advantages.
• Should have a good mentality and be able to support the team at any time.
