Role: Officer

Job Responsibilities: 

• The Officer-Advocacy position will support the Manager in all the advocacy-related activities of the Right 2 Grow project. 
• S/he will support the development of an advocacy strategic plan for the R2G project. 
• S/he will support the implementation of advocacy strategy and plan through consortium. 
• S/he will assist in capacity development for the members of Civil Society Organizations in the Khulna and Barisal divisions. 
• S/he will provide administrative and logistic support as per project needs. S/he will document best practices related to Food and nutrition, WASH, Gender Equality and inclusion, and child health care services at the community level. 
• S/he will prepare evidence-based documents for conducting policy advocacy issues.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Social Sciences /Communication or a relevant discipline.
• Experience Requirements: At least 3 years (s).

Additional Requirements: 

• At least 3 years experience, preferably in advocacy in nutrition, food security, and budget advocacy in local government, including advocacy for private sector engagement and gender Inclusion.
• Excellent experience in rapport building, networking, liaison, and relationship building for advocacy.
• Computer skills (MS Office Application and familiarity with working on websites).
• Excellent verbal and written communication in Bangla and English.
• Reporting skills as per the reporting template and considering the resulting framework of the Right to Grow project
• Good understanding of child rights, Gender, and Governance.
