The CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024. 

The One Young World Summit CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024, a collaboration between the China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) and One Young World, has been launched, offering a fully funded opportunity for individuals worldwide. This prestigious scholarship aims to select exceptional and brilliant students who have already made a positive social impact in addressing global challenges like climate change, gender equality, poverty, and public health. The selected scholars will have the chance to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada, presenting an incredible opportunity for young leaders to transform their lives.

CUSEF, a non-profit foundation based in Hong Kong, is dedicated to building trust, enhancing understanding, and fostering exchange between China and the United States. With a focus on youth and education, CUSEF has facilitated experiences for over 2,000 students in China, including 800 from Historically Black Colleges, institutes, and universities (HBCUs). Celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, CUSEF invites global youth to apply for the scholarship, aligning its efforts with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Recognizing the need for collaborative action to address complex global challenges, CUSEF emphasizes the importance of working together to create a more sustainable future for both people and the planet.

In partnership with CUSEF, One Young World is spearheading the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024 to identify eight outstanding young leaders globally. The selection criteria focus on the candidates' proven positive social impact in addressing issues such as climate change, poverty, gender equality, and public health. This scholarship offers a unique opportunity for these impactful young leaders to participate in the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal and join the esteemed One Young World Ambassador Community, contributing to a global network dedicated to driving positive change.

Eligibility Criteria for the CUSEF Young Leaders Scholarship 2024:

• Age requirement: Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years old at the time of the One Young World Summit in 2024.
• Nationality: Nationals of all countries are welcome to apply for this scholarship.
• Interest in East-West exchanges: Applicants should demonstrate a genuine interest in promoting exchanges between East and West.

• Leadership track record: Candidates must have a proven track record of leadership.
• Commitment to change: Applicants should exhibit a demonstrated commitment to delivering positive change.
• Addressing global issues: Candidates should be actively addressing key local and/or global issues in their work.

• Full delegate access: Scholars will have full access to the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montreal, Canada.
