Role: Project Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain liaison with relevant stakeholders and vendors.
  • Keep records of all information related to the project for documentation.
  • Provide support for arranging meetings and ensuring all logistics.
  • Provide administrative support to different units for field-level implementation.

 Requirements:                 

  • Secondary Education is mandatory.
  • A Bachelor's degree in business, management, public administration, or relevant fields will be considered favourably but is not mandatory.
  • At least 4 years of relevant work experience for candidates with Secondary Education.
  • At least 1 year of relevant work experience is required for candidates with a bachelor's degree, preferably in project support roles in development.
  • Proficiency in computer usage, including MS Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Typing proficiency in both Bangla and English.
  • Experience in development projects, either nationally or internationally, would be advantageous.

  • Administration and Operations Documents and record management   Overall document(hard and electronic) management; registry and retention policy including storing and archiving.
  • Registry and correspondence management Ability to collect, register, maintain, and deliver mail and UNDP pouch; ability to manage archives.
    Event management (including retreats, training, and meetings)   Ability to manage events including venue identification, accommodation, logistics, catering, transportation cash disbursement, etc.
    Ethics   UN Policy knowledge-ethics   Knowledge and understanding of the UN staff Regulations and rules and other policies relating to ethics and integrity.
