The University of New Mexico scholarship requirements are as follows: 

  • Applicant Must Apply for Admission and receive an unconditional offer for a place at UNM (University of New Mexico).
  • Applicants must prove their English language Communication skills if their Country's Major language is not English.
  • Scholarships are Available for Undergraduate and Graduate Degree Programs.
  • Non-immigrant visa status (Preference is given to student visa holders- F1 or J1.) 
  • No prior attendance at UNM in the current application degree level. 
  • Applicants for an undergraduate or graduate Full Time Program Are Eligible to Apply (Distance and Part-Time Students cannot benefit from this scholarship)
  • Scholarships are available to International students from all Countries.

Duration of Scholarship:

  • 8 consecutive semesters maximum or graduation (whichever comes first) for undergraduate students.
  • 4 semesters for master’s students.
  • 8 semesters for doctorate students.
