Eligibility Requirements for University of Regina Scholarships for International Students 2023-2024

  • International Students from all Countries are eligible for University of Regina International Entrance Scholarships.
  • Secondary and Transfer Students are Qualified to Apply.
  • Applicants Must Apply for a Study Permit and also Have an admission average of 85% or higher for a Bachelor's Degree, and an admission average of 80% for a Ph.D. Programs and admission average of 75% for Masters.
  • Candidates Must maintain a minimum of 9 credit hours per term up to and including the last day of classes.
  • Proof of English Language Proficiency is Required (IELTS/TOEFL/PTE/Duolingo).
  • For the Faculty of Nursing, post-secondary studies from a country that is not on the English Exempt Country List must have been completed within two (2) years of application to the Faculty.

List of University of Regina Scholarship 2023:

  • International Entrance Scholarship: All international students applying to an undergraduate degree program will be automatically considered for this award. Students receive their choice of either $3,000 in tuition credit or eight months of campus housing.
  • UR Circle OF Scholarship: 4 awards for international degree-seeking students with the highest admission averages from identified regions around the world. Students entering in the Fall semester will be automatically considered for this award. $5,000 awarded in the first year, renewable each year if criteria are met. Students will also receive on-campus housing as long as they continue to meet the criteria.

Winter 2023 Saskatchewan Innovation And Opportunity Scholarship:

This award will be presented in Winter 2023 only to 20 new international undergraduate students:

  • One award will be presented to each student with the highest admission average from twenty different countries.
  • Students must be enrolled full-time in any undergraduate program at the University of Regina.
  • Selection will be based on the final admission average. Students have to submit their final transcripts before being considered for this award.
