Role: National Consultant - AMR Advocacy campaign

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to DGDA regarding the development of AMR advocacy and awareness campaign materials.

  • Provide support in conducting countrywide advocacy and awareness campaigns.

  • Design an advocacy campaign to raise awareness of the general public, healthcare professionals and medicines retailers on the rational use of Antimicrobials in collaboration with AMR cell, DGDA.

  • Develop a communication strategy for rational use of Antimicrobials.

Requirements: 

  • Education:

  • Essential

  • Bachelor’s degree in medicine, pharmacy, communication, or related field from a reputed University

  • Postgraduate /Master’s degree in public health or relevant field.

  • Desirable: Specialized training on antimicrobial resistance containment. Training on mass communication or advocacy.  

  • Experience:

  • Essential: At least 5 years of experience in AMR-related areas and/or public health advocacy.

  • Desirable

  • Experience working with Government/development partner agencies.

  • Good knowledge of administrative and financial rules, processes, and procedures used by of WHO, UN, Government, and/or NGOs.
