Role: Monitoring and Evaluation Officer

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for establishing MIS, monitoring project activities, output, outcome, and impact and ensuring high quality and timely inputs, and ensuring that donor-funded projects maintain their strategic vision and that their activities result in the achievement of their intended output in a cost-effective and timely manner.
• To establish and operationalize MIS.
• To monitor the project activity, output, outcome, and impact. Provide feedback by enhancing the skill and capacity of different project beneficiaries and other stakeholders.
• To provide monitoring, direction to the project staff, and also motivation to the stakeholders and beneficiaries for effectively achieving objectives of the program, developing their knowledge and skill. Providing all technical support.
• To provide leadership, supervise, monitor, provide direction to the project staff, and also give motivation to the stakeholders and beneficiaries for effectively achieving objectives of the program, developing their knowledge and skill, and providing all technical support.
• To Provide all kinds of technical support to program staff to develop their skill, capacity, and knowledge on facilitation, and monitor staff to ensure proper accountability in preparing monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Participate in annual project reviews and planning workshops and assist the Project Manager in preparing relevant reports.
• Assist the project personnel with M and E tools, and MIS, and in supporting them in their use.
• To prepare Case studies and prepare news for the stakeholders and other related media.
• To perform other duties as may be assigned by the authority.

Requirements:

• Graduate/Master's Degree preferably in Computer Engineering, Social Science/Sociology, Economics, Development Studies, Environmental Science, Political Science, Humanitarian Response, and any other subject relevant to this position.

Additional Requirements:

• Age 30 to 45 years.
• At least 02 years of working experience in the design and implementation of Monitoring and Evaluation in any development projects implemented by national/international NGOs/ UN Bodies/Governments.
• Strong computer skills particularly in MS Excel, Google sheet, Google form, Kobo, and data analysis software like SPSS. The person has to be responsible to establish MIS.
• Capable and willing to ride a motorcycle with a valid Driving License.
• CRA/PADR, FGD, Survey, Relief and Rehabilitation activities, Project Management, Budgeting, Monitoring, and Supervision skills.
• Management and Supervision, Communication, Networking, and Interpersonal skills.
• Report writing skills (Bangla and English).
• Presentation/Facilitation/Training/Teaching/Counseling and motivational skills.

Job Location: Dhaka

Salary: Consolidated pay of Tk.42,000 BDT for six months Probationary period.

Benefits: As per Organisational Policy after confirmation.
