Bollywood actress and Indian model Poonam Pandey passed away on Friday at the age of 32 due to cervical cancer. She was diagnosed with the last stage of cervical cancer.
According to a statement posted on Pandey's Instagram handle, “We have lost our beloved Poonam to cervical cancer…. In this time of grief, we would request privacy while we remember her fondly for all that we shared."
India-based news outlets said the funeral events would take place in her hometown, in India’s Uttar Pradesh.
Poonam Pandey made her Bollywood debut with the 2013 film 'Nasha'. She gained major popularity after participating in the reality show 'Lock Upp'.
