Charlie Puth, the globally renowned American singer, songwriter, and record producer known for fan-favourite songs including “See You Again,” “We Don’t Talk Anymore,” and “Attention,” is set to enthral music lovers in Dhaka in February 2024.
Event management company Silverline Events announced the upcoming concert featuring the sensational artist on Sunday across its social media platforms, as per UNB reports.
Hyping up the concert, Silverline said, “Get ready to be swept off your feet! Excitement is building as we proudly announce the Biggest concert of the year – Charlie Puth Live In Dhaka on February 2024!”

Details regarding the tickets, venue, and other performing artists are yet to be revealed. However, concertgoers assume that the event will likely take place at the International Convention City Bashundhara (ICCB), the staple venue for concerts in the city.
Although the Dhaka concert scene thrived throughout the entirety of 2023 with several big banner concerts and major artists and bands from India and West Bengal, including Lucky Ali, Anupam Roy, Chandrabindoo, Fossils, Taalpatar Shepai, Anuv Jain, Darshan Raval, and others, no major international artists performed for the local concertgoers. The last major concert featuring an international artist was the Otilia Brumă concert in July 2022.
Charlie Puth's meteoric rise began with the chart-topping hit "See You Again," a tribute to late Hollywood actor Paul Walker, which was commissioned for the film "Furious 7," the actor's final film before his untimely demise as he was one of the key characters in the "Fast & Furious" franchise.
Co-created with rapper Wiz Khalifa, the song peaked at number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart for 12 non-consecutive weeks, was nominated for three Grammy Awards, was also shortlisted for the Song of the Year for the BBC Music Awards, and was nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song at the 73rd Golden Globe Awards.
With three studio albums, Nine Track Mind (2016), Voicenotes (2018), and Charlie (2022), the music star is considered one of the most successful and sensational American music artists of his generation.
