Musician A K Ratul, son of actor Jasim, dies of heart attack

A K Ratul, vocalist, bassist, and sound engineer of the band ‘Owned’, has died following a heart attack. He was the son of the late film actor Jasim.

Ratul collapsed while working out at a gym in Dhaka’s Uttara, local media reported, citing the band’s lyricist, Siam Ibn Alam.

He was first taken to Uttara Crescent Hospital and then referred to Lubana General Hospital, only to be declared dead by on-duty doctors about an hour later, the report added, citing Alam.
