The greenest 'green flag': Chandler M. Bing

Hi, I'm Chandler. I make jokes when I'm uncomfortable.

There is nothing wrong with saying Chandler M. Bing is the utmost comfort character or the greenest green flag. And why won't he be? From his bromance with Joey to his love for Monica, enduring the accusations from Ross's parents, and never revealing anything from his college days. Chandler Bong isn't just a funnyman; he has a tender heart, too.

Chandler is one of the protagonists of a popular American '90s sitcom 'Friends', who is majorly known for his one-liners and sarcasm.

Chandler is intelligent, successful (has a separate room with an awestruck view at the age of 30), and has a great sense of humour. In addition, he is a passionate friend and a kind spouse. He is someone that we can all look up to and admire and the only character whom every guy can relate to.

His witty one-liners are always sure to put a smile on your face, even when you are feeling low. Chandler's sense of humour is a coping gizmo that he uses to deal with the stresses of life. He can find the funny side of even the most difficult situations, which helps him to stay positive and resilient.

As Joey wasn't financially independent, Chandler cared for him financially and emotionally. And deep down, you did cry when Chandler and Monica showed Joey the room in their new house, didn't you?

They say you can't have a crush on a fictional character, but If it's 'Mondler', bet you can't help, right?

From coming from an immature, sloppy relationship with Janice, Chandler finally found Monica after ten years and adored her in the world of Pete and Richard. They made long-distance work, figured out a different way to have children, worked through their issues as a team, and showed respect and support for one another.

From a guy who was afraid of commitments, he became a perfect husband for Monica as he loved her more than anything. His parenthood, convincing Erica to give them her baby or saying no to another woman who throws herself on him, shows how the greenest green flag he is.

He is always there for his friends throughout the series. He took the blame when Ross blamed him for the weeds to his parents. He was the first to check up on Monica after having a breakup, comforting her. When Phoebe is feeling insecure about her appearance, Chandler is the one who reassures her that she is beautiful.

And it would be no overstatement to say Joey was his baby brother, with whom he had the whole responsibility. He consoles Rachel when her relationship doesn't quite work out, inviting her to a hockey match or maybe the cheesecake episode? He is a walking example of the theme music "I'll be there for you"—a person with zero male ego and a healthy masculinity.

From laughing in a serious situation, hating corporate jobs, posing awkwardly in front of the camera, making jokes when uncomfortable, and not being great at advice but still wanting to be in a comfort zone by interesting you in a sarcastic comment, Chandler Bing is a whole mood. In a world full of Richard, Pete, Ross and Joey, we can thank him for being our ChanChan man. On this eve, like other fans, one question remains unanswered,

"Could saying goodbye be any more difficult?"
