'Tiger vs Pathaan': India's biggest film in the pre-production phase, starring two Khans

Ace Bollywood director Aditya Chopra has revealed that the highly-anticipated film 'Tiger vs Pathaan' has already had its script narrated to Bollywood superstars Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in separate meetings over a month ago. This revelation contradicts previous news reports that suggested a joint narration was planned at Yash Raj Films (YRF).

Aditya Chopra, the mastermind behind this cinematic spectacle, narrated the script to the two mega-stars individually. Following these meetings, the script has been locked, paving the way for the production team to kickstart preparations in November. The shooting of the film is set to commence in March next year.

A trade source close to the project shared insights, stating, 'Tiger vs Pathaan's script is locked after the two mega-stars of Hindi cinema nodded. 

This film is a huge milestone moment because it sees the two giants of Indian cinema coming together for a full-fledged film after their box office juggernaut 'Karan Arjun,' 3 decades ago. They had to first love the script and get convinced that it has the goods to satisfy people's expectations about their big on-screen reunion. 

Aditya Chopra held individual meetings with SRK and Salman, respectively and narrated the film to them. The film will now go on floors in March next year.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, 'Tiger vs Pathaan' is being touted as India's biggest film ever produced. It is an integral part of the fabled YRF Spy Universe, which began with the successful 'Tiger' franchise starring Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif. 

The franchise commenced with 'Ek Tha Tiger' (2012) and continued with 'Tiger Zinda Hai' (2017). This spy universe gained further momentum with 'War' (2019), featuring Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff, and reached new heights with 'Pathaan' (2023), starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham. Notably, all four films from the YRF Spy Universe have been resounding blockbusters.

With the script locked and the iconic duo of Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan on board, 'Tiger vs Pathaan' promises to be a cinematic extravaganza that will leave fans eagerly awaiting its release. 

As the YRF Spy Universe continues to captivate audiences, the next instalment, 'Tiger 3,' is set to hit screens in November, coinciding with the Diwali festival holiday.
