Eid is just around the corner, and you want to shine like Chaand on Eid day. Due to last-minute planning, all the salons are packed, as everyone wants that radiance. Moreover, the services aren't always the best during this last-minute rush. What if you could get the glow right at home? If you're looking for a salon-like, chemical-free glow at home in your comfy clothes and favourite Eid playlist, then you're in the right place.

Before starting the glow-up session, create a relaxing atmosphere. Play soft music, and light some scented candles to create a soothing environment. Have a clean towel and a water bottle ready, put your phone into silent mode to avoid distractions and get ready for the first step: Cleansing. Start by washing your face with lukewarm water, and use a gentle face wash according to your skin type. Gently massage in a circular motion with fingertips to remove dirt and oil. Rinse with cold water and pat dry with a soft towel. Mix honey with a few drops of rosewater or milk for a natural alternative.

Moving on with Step 2, Exfoliating, gently scrubs away dead skin cells to revive fresh, glowing skin underneath. Mix two teaspoons of rice flour with yoghurt or one tablespoon of sugar with olive oil or honey to make a gentle exfoliating scrub. Gently rub this circularly for two minutes and rinse off with lukewarm water.

Moving on to the fun part, massaging helps your blood flow better, resulting in a radiant glow. You can use your favourite moisturizer, coconut oil, almond oil or aloe vera gel. Put a small amount on your palm, rub them to have a lukewarm moisturizer, and apply to your skin. Use your middle and ring fingers to make a small circle across your face and massage it into upward strokes. Don't forget the delicate area around your eyes, and continue this for 5 minutes to have a natural glow.

It's time for steaming to open up pores so all the good stuff can get in and remove impurities. Boil some water and add a few drops of your preferred essential oil. Cover your head with a towel to trap the steam, and carefully (do not get too close to avoid burns) let that steam hit your face for 5-10 minutes. If it feels too hot at some point, take a tiny break and continue. This will deeply cleanse your skin and prepare it for hydration.

A good facemask can instantly brighten your face. You can find numerous sheet masks or make one at home. You can mix ripe bananas with honey or yoghurt or two teaspoons of gram flour with a pinch of turmeric, tomato puree and some milk to make a thick paste. Apply this mixture to your face and neck, avoid eyes and mouth, and leave it for 15-20 minutes. These ingredients work like magic, offering moisture and a radiant glow with softer, more hydrated skin.

After all that pampering, finish off by moisturizing your skin. Use aloe vera gel or a good moisturizer to lock in the glow. Apply upward strokes evenly to your neck and face to lift the skin. For toning, combine equal parts of rose water and cucumber juice in a bowl and apply them with a cotton ball over your face. Let it dry entirely without rinsing. Toner helps to balance your skin's pH. This combo seals the moisture by tightening pores and gives you a perfect glow throughout the festive season.

Want your hair to match your glowing face? To shower your hair with love, you can try a simple hot oil massage for shiny, healthy hair. All you need is some warm (not hot) coconut oil with a few drops of castor oil, olive oil or almond oil, and massage it into your scalp and hair for 10 minutes. Wrap a warm towel for 15 more minutes and allow your hair to absorb that oil. Finally, wash it with a mild shampoo and let that air dry to have soft, shiny, silky hair that compliments your radiant skin. It's advisable to go for the hot oil massage on "Chaand-Raat" cause hair looks perfect on the second day.

So, there you have it, all ready to rock your Eid fit—a complete salon-like glow-up session at home using just kitchen ingredients. Drink plenty of water and get a good sleep. There are no salon appointments, no waiting, just you and your natural beauty, and a whole new level of compliments is coming your way.
