Near Dhaka, you'll find several scenic and historical places that are perfect for a day trip. In Cumilla, the Shalban Vihara, Lalmai Hills, and Mainamati Museum combine history with nature. Panam City in Sonargaon shows Bengal's past through its centuries-old structures.
