After April's scorching heat, everyone eagerly awaits heavy rainfall in the upcoming season. However, enjoying the rain while being stuck in city life is hard. Bangladesh's magnificent sea beaches and hill tracts serve mesmerizing beauty to the country's travel lovers. Here are some of the most picturesque places in Bangladesh to travel in the upcoming monsoon season.

Sylhet division

Starting from Sylhet division, Tanguar Haor is one of the best places to visit during the monsoon. Boating along the water while enjoying the marvelous landscapes from sunrise to sunset is bliss at every glance. Spending a night there during the monsoon on the rooftop of a boat to feel the vastness of the sky, contemplating life in the breezy wind as rain droplets fall on your skin, is an unmatched feeling.

The Ratargul Swamp forest in the Gowain River comes alive with its celestial beauty during the rainy season. Heavy rainwater flooding from Assam submerges the entire forest underwater. Boating through the forest, where diverse plants peak over the water like umbrellas, while listening to birds chirping brings out the raw beauty of nature.

During rain, the border-side mountains and enchanting waterfall of Bichanakandi become alluring. When a large stream forms majestic waterfalls, connecting a lake to a river, the view of Bichanakandi becomes lovely.

The tea gardens of Srimangal, Lawachara National Park, Madhabpur Lake, Baikka Beel, and the Lalakhal Canal are among many other attractions within the Sylhet division that are best enjoyed during the monsoon. Each one is breathtaking and soothing to the eyes.

Hill tracts of Chattogram

Coming to the hill tracts area, Nafa-Khum is undoubtedly one of the best places to visit in Bandarban during the rainy season. The feeling of standing in front of the splendid Nafa Khum waterfall is unmatched. In the rainy season, the journey to Nafa-Khum is easier and more exciting since some distances are covered by boat through the magnificent Sangu River. The trekking journey through the jungles of Bandarban is as tempting as the fall itself. And finally, the breathtaking view of the waterfall itself, along with the lush greenery surroundings, make it outstanding.

Sajek Valley is one of Bangladesh's most fascinating hill tracts. It is beautiful in all seasons, particularly in the monsoon season, when clouds pass by and touch the mountain tops. The beautiful mountains covered in clouds give a mesmerizing view, appealing to visitors.

South Asia's largest artificial lake is located in Rangamti. The vast Kaptai Lake is undoubtedly one of the places to visit during the monsoon season. It offers an experience of serenity.

The lake's water reflects the blue sky, creating an exceptional tourist view. One must spend a night near the lake in the upcoming rainy season to feel the breeze while sleeping to the sound of rain.

Be sure to visit the fantastic Shuvolong Falls along with Kaptai Lake.

On the hills of Mirsharai, Chattogram, there is this breathtaking fall of Khoiyachora. To reach the destination, one has to trek through the jungle with the help of some cascades.

The picturesque fall will appeal to visitors with its enchanting view. The waterfall is at its best during the monsoon when one can shower in the falling stream to enjoy nature.

The large waves of the beach sides can be marvelous. However, it comes with few risks. Whether it is any beach of Cox's Bazar, Saint Martin's Island, or Kuakata, extreme rain can put tourists in danger if they are even a little bit careless. Storms in the sea can be hazardous for coastal areas. Visitors must always remain cautious to avoid accidents to enjoy the windy weather of sea beaches.

Proper planning and picking the right season are crucial to experiencing these places' appealing beauty. The rainy season, in particular, is the tourists' favorite because of its unparalleled charm.

Since Bangladesh offers many places best enjoyed in the rain, tourists can easily choose their favorite spot and have a great time. Visit and enjoy freshly purified nature, smell the rain-drenched soil in the air, pack your bags, and prepare for the upcoming rainy weather.
