Hustling here and there for our livelihoods or juggling academic pressure and personal expectations, leaving no room for mental peace. So, repetitive conditions like these make us think of doing something meaningful and healthy, and that's where yoga comes in. Many of us think of doing yoga, whether following a trend or sometimes to get rid of daily stresses, but don't know where to start, what the places are, or how much it would cost, because many people think that yoga classes are too expensive or only available at exclusive studios. To address these queries, we are exploring budget-friendly places to practice yoga.    

Evergreen Yoga

Evergreen Yoga is one of the budget-friendly yoga centres in Dhaka. They have two branches in Dhanmondi Science Lab and Kazipara, Mirpur.

The yoga centre offers guided sessions for both beginners and regular practitioners, led by experienced instructors.

The monthly fee is BDT 2,500, plus a one-time admission fee. Regular batches are held in both morning and evening slots, making it convenient for students and working individuals. Also, they offer online classes.

Joysan Yoga

Joysan Yoga is one of the best yoga and holistic wellness centres in Dhaka. They claim they have developed 'scientifically proven' life-changing sessions, classes, and courses.

Traditional yoga practices are available there. If you need a certificate, they can provide that too. People like yoga in a less crowded place. Joysan jas small batches to fill up this need. At Joysan Yoga Centre, you can start yoga at a comparatively low budget: an admission fee of 2000 taka and a monthly fee of 1500.

Art of Living

Art of Living offers some of the most affordable yoga and meditation sessions in Banani. Their programs focus on breathing exercises, stress management, and beginner-friendly yoga postures.

The monthly fee starts at Tk 1,500 for general yoga sessions. They also offer special courses for anxiety relief and women's wellness. So, if you want that, you will get that at the Art of Living. Classes are available in both morning and evening slots.

Yogamrita Yoga Institute

Situated at Dhanmondi and Gulshan, Yogamrita Yoga Institute focuses on traditional yoga practices that emphasise flexibility, strength, and mental clarity.

The institute offers simple poses, breathing exercises, and stress-relief techniques for both group and special classes within your budget. Each class lasts one hour, having an off on Thursday.

Samadi Wellness

Samadi Wellness is located at Gulshan, Dhaka. The studio provides a range of classes focusing on kundalini yoga, meditation, and sound healing.

Instructors offer personal guidance in small groups, so that one might learn to follow. Their group healing sessions and workshops are particularly popular among those looking to detoxify, rejuvenate, and realign their energy. The price is very affordable, generally ranging from BDT 1,500 to 13,500, with varying options.

Lotus Yoga

Lotus Yoga is known for its calm, peaceful environment, ideal for practising yoga and meditation. They teach easy yoga moves, breathing exercises, and ways to reduce stress.

Classes are small and guided by trained instructors. Monthly fees are affordable, and batches are arranged in the morning and evening for convenience. It's located on Eskaton, Dilu road. They charge an admission fee of 1000 taka with a monthly cost of 3000 taka.
