A total of 178 dengue patients were hospitalised across the country in 24 hours till Friday morning.
Of them, 57 were hospitalised in Dhaka, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a regular update.
Currently, 1,018 patients, including 419 in Dhaka, are being treated at hospitals for dengue, according to a news agency report.
The Institute of Epidemiology, Disease Control and Research reviewed 158 suspected deaths so far and confirmed 98 of them as dengue death.
