At least 18 people were injured after a fire broke out on the ground floor of a five-story building in the capital's Bangshal area early Monday.
The fire originated around 4:10 am at the building located on Nazimuddin Road, said Khairul Islam Rony of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (FSCD) headquarters' media cell, as per a UNB report.
Five firefighting units from Siddique Bazar Fire Station and Lalbagh doused the fire at 5:12 am, he added.
