CHATTOGRAM, Jan 24: The 23rd death anniversary of Engineer SMA Bari, father of the Special Correspondent of The Financial Express and poet Nazimuddin Shyamol, will be observed today (Saturday).
Engineer SMA Bari was born at his village Shafinagar under Hathazari upazila in Chittagong in 1938. He was born to Sayed Mohammed Abdul Aziz Chowdhury and Anjoma Khatoon. He obtained his graduation from Ahasanullah Engineering Academy. He was an activist of the Bangla Language Movement in 1952.
