35,000 people expected to join main Eid-ul-Azha congregation at National Eidgah

The main congregation of Eid-ul-Azha will be held at National Eidgah ground in Dhaka at 7:30 am on the day of Eid-ul-Azha.

The Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC) has made arrangements for about 35,000 people at the pandal built inside the National Eidgah, reports bdnews24.com.

Devotees are allowed to join the prayer service outside the pandal as well.

“Preparations for the Eid congregation at the National Eidgah Maidan are almost complete. The main congregation will be held at 7:30 am,” said DSCC spokesman Md Abu Naser.

The DSCC spokesman said the congregation will move to the Baitul Mukarram National Mosque in case of bad weather.
