No deaths from dengue were reported in the country in the 24 hours until Saturday morning, though 367 new patients were admitted to hospitals during the period, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
Of the new cases, 54 were reported from Barishal division (outside the city corporation areas), 79 from Chattogram, 108 from Dhaka division outside the capital, 29 from Dhaka North City Corporation, and 67 from Dhaka South City Corporation. In addition, three cases were detected in Mymensingh division and 27 in Rajshahi division.
Meanwhile, 332 patients recovered and were discharged from hospitals in the past 24 hours. With this, the total number of dengue recoveries this year has risen to 29,328, DGHS data shows.
