40th FOBANA Convention 2026 set for September 4–6 in Orlando, Florida

The 40th FOBANA Convention 2026 is scheduled to take place from September 4 to 6, 2026, at the Holiday Inn Resort, Orlando, Florida, USA. The announcement was made at a press conference held in Dhaka.
Organizers stated that the 40th FOBANA Convention, marking four decades of the Federation of Bangladeshi Associations in North America (FOBANA), will be a landmark global gathering of the Bangladeshi diaspora, according to a media release.
The convention aims to celebrate unity, cultural heritage, community leadership, and global collaboration.
The convention is expected to bring together community leaders, professionals, cultural activists, youth representatives, business leaders, entrepreneurs, and delegates from across North America, Bangladesh, and other parts of the world.
Organizers emphasized that the primary objective of this event is to promote global cultural connectivity, enhance international business cooperation, and foster worldwide tourism development.
Through dialogue, exhibitions, and cultural exchange, the convention seeks to strengthen bonds between Bangladesh and the global Bangladeshi community.
Speakers at the press conference noted that the convention will serve as an important platform to promote Bangladesh’s culture, values, creativity, and economic potential on an international stage, while encouraging unity and collaboration among Bangladeshis worldwide.
The organizers expressed strong optimism that the 40th FOBANA Convention 2026 will be celebrated with wide participation and enthusiasm, further strengthening global Bangladeshi unity and proudly representing Bangladesh on the world stage, the release adds.
