41.3pc people in Bangladesh dislike India, 28.5pc dislike Pakistan: Survey

As many as 41.3 per cent of people in Bangladesh expressed dislike for India as a country, according to a survey conducted by Voice of America (VOA) Bangla.

Meanwhile, 28.5 per cent of the respondents expressed a negative impression about Pakistan.

Out of 1,000 respondents, 53.6 per cent showed favourable opinions about India, and 59 per cent showed about Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Myanmar emerged as the most disliked neighbouring country as per the responses of most of the respondents, 59.1 per cent.

The highest 68.4 per cent of the respondents hold good perceptions about the USA, 66 per cent about China, 64 per cent about Russia, and 62.7 per cent about the UK.
