The Bengali Second Paper, Arabic First Paper in Alim, and English-2 of HSC Vocational, BMT, and Diploma in Commerce exams were held on the second day.

The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee shared details of the expulsions and absentees after the exams.

Citing information from 1,600 centres, the committee said that 23 examinees and 1 invigilator were expelled during the Bengali Second Paper Examination.

Among those expelled were 8 candidates from the Dhaka board, 3 each from the Rajshahi and Mymensingh boards, 2 each from the Cumilla, Barishal, and Dinajpur boards, 1 from the Jashore Board, and 1 inspector.

In the HSC Bengali Second Paper exam, 917,661 participated in the exams out of 933,539 registered candidates, while 15,898 were absent.

The committee also reported the expulsion of 10 candidates from the Alim Arabic First Paper and Arabic Literature exams under the Bangladesh Madrasah Education Board.

They said 83,883 candidates were scheduled to take the Quran Majeed exam across 459 Alim centres.

Of them, 79,292 took part, 4,441 were absent, and 10 candidates were expelled.

The committee informed that 8 candidates were expelled from the English-2 subject exam on the second day of the HSC Vocational, BMT, and Diploma in Commerce exams, while 2,002 were absent.

The English-2 exam was held at 733 centres under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
