At least 429 people were admitted to hospitals with dengue fever in the last 24 hours till Monday morning, according to the DGHS.
Among them, 149 were from Barishal division, 57 from Chattogram, 61 from different areas of Dhaka, including 42 under Dhaka North and 45 under Dhaka South, 21 from Khulna, and 54 from Rajshahi division. The total number of dengue patients this year has reached 10,296.
Meanwhile, Covid-19 is also spreading again. In the same 24-hour period - from Sunday to Monday morning -21 new Covid-19 cases were detected. During this time, 384 samples were tested, and the infection rate was 5.47 per cent.
