A Dhaka court has sent 207 people, including former president of Juba Dal Sultan Salauddin Tuku, to jail in connection with 67 sabotage cases.
The Chief Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court passed the order on Friday.
According to court sources, police produced the accused before the court and pleaded for keeping them detained, while defence lawyers argued for their bail.
After the hearing, the court ruled to keep the accused in custody.
