The results of this year’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent examinations are now available on the websites of all education boards.
Local news portals said 77.78 per cent of total examinees passed the examination and as many as 145,911 examinees – or approximately 14 per cent – received a GPA-5, the highest score.
The reports said 79.21 per cent of students passed in Dhaka, 70.32 per cent in Chattogram, 81.85 per cent in Barishal, 81.24 per cent in Rajshahi, 71.15 per cent in Cumilla, 64.29 per cent in Jashore, 85.39 per cent in Sylhet, 77.56 per cent in Dinajpur, 63.22 per cent in Mymensingh, 93.40 per cent in Madrasa and 88.09 per cent in Technical education boards.
Examinees can obtain their results by visiting the following websites:

Students can also obtain results through SMS. To do so, students have to send an SMS in the following format: HSC<space>the first three letters of the education board<space>roll number<space>2024 to 16222, and they will receive their results in a reply.
This year, more than 1.45 million students have been awaiting the results.
The exams began on June 30, and were initially suspended due to disruptions caused by the Anti-discrimination Student Movement protests, and tests were conducted for only seven subjects.
