At least eight people, including a child, have been burnt in a gas fire at a house in Narayanganj's Siddhirganj Upazila.
The victims of the incident in the Chittagong Road neighbourhood were rushed to Dhaka’s National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery, bdnews24.com reports.
Most had suffered burns covering more than half their bodies, doctors said on Saturday.
“There is also a child with about 15 per cent burns,” said Dr Sultan Mahmud Shikder, resident surgeon at the institute.
