Academic activities at KUET suspended till Feb 28

The academic activities of Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET) have been suspended until February 28.

This decision was made in an emergency meeting of the syndicate held today (Wednesday).

The university authority has also reaffirmed their stance on banning politics on campus, with a decision to permanently expel and revoke the studentship of any student found involved in political activities.

Earlier, students had locked the administrative and academic buildings of the university in protest of six demands, including the resignation of the vice-chancellor.
