The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has seized six Brahman cows after raiding Sadeeq Agro’s farm in the Mohammadpur area of the capital.
The raid was conducted on the farm today (Wednesday), under the leadership of ACC Assistant Director Abul Kalam Azad in the presence of Dhaka District Animal Resources Officer Basna Akhtar.
According to sources from the ACC, six banned Brahman cows, brought from the US, were found at the farm, and no owner or manager of Sadeeq Agro was found during the raid.
The import and breeding of Brahman cows have remained banned in Bangladesh since 2016.
