ACC sues two govt officials over illegal wealth

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) filed two separate cases against two government officials on Thursday for accumulating wealth from "unknown sources."

The commission filed the first case against Ali Azam Khan, former assistant executive of Trading Corporation of Bangladesh (TCB) and his wife Jahan Ara for gaining wealth over Tk 12.34 million from "illegal sources."

ACC headquarters' deputy assistant director Md Altaf Hossain filed case against the couple with integrated district office-1 (IDO-1) in Dhaka.
