The regular export-import activities at the Akhaura land port will remain suspended for 11 days starting from September 26 till October 6 on the occasion of the Durga Puja.
However, travelers would not face any problem to cross the port on those days, said Shafiqul Islam, general secretary of the Akhaura Exporters-Importers Association, reports UNB.
The land port would reopen on October 7 (Saturday), he added.
