BNP's Amir Khosru, Mirza Fakhrul to join special breakfast hosted by Trump

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury are set to travel to the United States to attend a special breakfast hosted by US President Donald Trump.
According to sources, both senior BNP leaders will leave Bangladesh on February 02.
During their stay in the US, they will attend a dinner on February 05 and a breakfast event on February 06.
"We will leave Dhaka on February 02 via Emirates Airlines to attend the scheduled programmes," Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury told The Financial Express (FE).
He said that they may also participate in some sideline meetings during the visit.
The BNP leaders are expected to return to Dhaka after February 10.
Bangladesh and the United States have maintained strong bilateral trade relations for a long. The US is the single largest importer of Bangladeshi garments, while Bangladesh also imports various goods from the world’s largest economy.
