Another Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim dies, taking death toll to five

Another Bangladeshi Hajj pilgrim has died in Saudi Arabia during this year's Hajj journey. With this, a total of five people died in the country.
The deceased were Md Khalilur Rahman (70) of Pangsha upazila of Rajbari district, Fariduzzaman (57) of Bajitpur upazila of Kishoreganj district, Al Hamida Banu (54) of Panchagarh Sadar upazila, Md. Shahjahan Kabir (60) of Mohammadpur in Dhaka, and Hafez Uddin of Bakshiganj in Jamalpur.
A total of 37,115 Hajj pilgrims from Bangladesh have reached the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) to perform the holy Hajj, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
As of 2:59 am on Friday, the pilgrims reached the KSA by 92 flights under the government and private management.
Of them, 4,564 pilgrims under the government management and 32,551 under the private management have reached the KSA.
A total of 87,100 Bangladeshi pilgrims are expected to travel to Saudi Arabia this year, including 5,200 under government management and 81,900 under private arrangements.
