Army chief meets president, chief adviser

Chief of Army Staff General Waker-Uz-Zaman held separate meetings with President Mohammad Sahabuddin and Chief Adviser Professor Muhammad Yunus on Monday.

He first met with the chief adviser and then with the president in the morning.

During the meeting, the army chief briefed both leaders on his recent official visit to China, according to media reports.

At the same time, the country’s law and order situation was also discussed in the meeting.
