Asif Nazrul, Farhad Mazhar push students to clashes: DU BCL president

Professor Asif Nazrul and writer Farhad Mazhar are inciting student clashes, alleged the president of the Dhaka University Chhatra League (BCL) chapter on Monday.

"Asif Nazrul and Farhad Mazhar are pushing students to clashes in various ways," Mazharul Kabir Shayan told reporters after the clashes at Dhaka University.

"Girls are being used in the movement. They attacked Suryasen Hall, Bijoy Ekattor Hall, and Bangabandhu Hall. They are not girls; they are Shibir-Chhatra Dal cadres. We have stood as part of our struggle against the protesting Shibir-Chhatra Dal men."

Even though clashes between BCL men and quota protesters have ceased, a tense situation continues to prevail on the campus.
