Bangla Blockade: Quota protesters again block Shahbagh intersection

The agitating students and jobseekers have blocked Dhaka's Shahbagh intersection for the fifth consecutive day, demanding the restoration of the notification issued in 2018 that abolished the quota system in first and second-class government jobs.

Hundreds of students rallied in front of the Dhaka University Central Library on Sunday afternoon.

At 3:20 pm, they formed a procession, marched through various campus streets, and blocked the Shahbagh intersection at around 3:55 pm.
