Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association gets its new executive committee

Md Ahsanuzzaman Lintu, an agro-entrepreneur and the Director and CEO of Spectra Hexa Feeds Ltd, has assumed office as the President of the newly elected committee of the Bangladesh Agricultural Economists Association (BAEA).
Prof Golam Hafeez Kennedy, former Chairman of the Department of Agricultural Finance and Banking at Bangladesh Agricultural University, has taken office as the General Secretary, said a press release.
They will serve for the term 2025–2026.
The handover ceremony took place on Saturday at the conference room of the Bangladesh Agricultural Research Council (BARC) in Dhaka city.
Other office bearers of the 63-member standing committee include former Secretary to the Government Md Anwarul Islam Sikder as Senior Vice President, while the Vice Presidents are Dr Md Mizanur Rahman, Prof Dr Muhammad Akhtaruzzaman, Dr Fatema Wadud Shila, Md. Mujibur Rahman, and Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman Sarkar.
The role of Joint General Secretaries is held by Sheikh Muhammad Masud, Dr S M Moniruzzaman, and Md Al Arif Hasan. Former Additional Secretary Md. Azizul Islam has taken charge as Treasurer. Suruzzaman Shuvo has been appointed Organising Secretary, Mitul Kumar Saha as Office Secretary, and Md. Wahidul Islam (Pinu) as Assistant Office Secretary.
