The government has launched a hotline service in the name of 'Probash-Bondhu call centre’ with a toll-free number '16135' for the migrant workers.
Wage Earners' Welfare Board (WEWB), under the Ministry of Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment, has launched the hotline service.
The call centre has been started for providing required information on overseas employment and credit assistance, solutions to various problems of migrant workers and their family members and also to provide them with the necessary support, reports BSS citing a press release.
The concerned people will get information services by dialling the hotline number at free of cost.
The call centre will remain open for twenty-four hours for the concerned people, said the release.
